Best Swing for Eagle Saint-Chinian AOP Vieilles Vignes

Simply good is not good enough in the eyes of Xavier Roger and Cédric Duquenoy, winemakers and avid golfers. The name of this rich red wine is therefore a nod to a term from their favourite sport. In other words: give your best swing to hit an eagle. Best Swing for Eagle stands for passion, commitment and quality. And you can indeed taste it in this intense and concentrated Cuvée of Grenache from fifty-year-old vines and Syrah from fifteen-year-old vines. A delicious wine full of ripe fruit and sublime wood tones. For us, a hole in one!

A stunning deep-red wine with purple hues that treat the intense aromas of ripe red fruit and delicate wood tones. Wonderfully rich and concentrated in the mouth with a surprising and pleasant freshness and silky tannins. The finish, which is full of ripe red fruit, lasts endlessly. All this gave this wood-aged wine a gold medal at the Berliner Wein Trophy. The perfect wine with vegetable stew and grilled meat or after a round on the golf course.

LGI Wines

To present the beautiful wines from Languedoc at an attractive price to wine lovers around the world. With that goal in mind, Alain Grignon founded LGI Wines in 1999 in the city of Carcassonne in Languedoc-Roussillon. After his retirement in 2013, Xavier Roger and Cédric Duquenoy took over the company. While retaining the vision of the founder, the men make unique wines that radiate the class of the area.

The appellation, which stretches from coastal plains of the Mediterranean Sea to the foothills of the Massif Central, is known for the hilly landscapes that offer ideal conditions for viticulture. The soil in the north, full of schist, contributes to concentrated and expressive wines with deep red colour. The calcareous clay soil in the south of the area forms the basis for more accessible wines.
