Pierre Baptiste Syrah Pays d'Oc IGP
Cool Syrah from southern France
Cool, powerful, fruity and spicy. That’s how we can summarize this magnificent Syrah of Pierre Baptiste. Pierre Baptiste took the great red grape of Rhône and created a bold wine with a soft edge. For many winemakers making a 100% Syrah wine is a great challenge due to the care the grape needs in the vineyard, but thanks to the many years of knowledge and experience it was no problem for Pierre Baptiste and thus we can now enjoy the beautiful result!
Colour is very dark as Syrah should be. Rich aroma with hints of ripe black fruit and a little pepper. Palate is full, powerful and round with a perfect balance between fruit and spiciness. Imposing long finish with a hint of spice.
Since the beginning in 1982, Pierre Baptiste wines are known for their expressive character, fruitiness and elegant flavours. During the year, Pierre Baptiste selects only the best grapes to ensure the highest quality. The result is delicious wines.
